Shift Lead

Our ideal candidate:

• Has proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant role is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate

• Is committed to providing excellent service

• Can lead by example

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Can provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts

• Can work independently as well as on a team

• Is a team player

• Is reliable

• Is available for evenings and weekends

• Can work with minimal supervision

• Is 18 or older

• Can stand for long periods

• Will obtain food handler’s certificate by start date

• is Fun!

Duties include:

• Overseeing operations and workers during scheduled shifts

• Ensuring health and safety standards are followed

• Ensuring team is providing consistent product and customer service to guests

• Training and coaching new employees

• Taking orders, preparing dipped ice pops, desserts, and drinks, and serving guests

• Operating Square POS system

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the shop

• Completing and delegating checklists

• Opening and closing the shop

• Handling cash in register and deposits

• Working with the manager to maintain an inventory checklist

• Maintaining a safe work environment for team and customers

• Addressing customer concerns

• Additional duties as assigned
